Merland Agronomy was formed when a handful of grain co-ops and agronomy outfits across western Ohio and eastern Indiana joined up to share equipment, share expertise, and keep margins in the hands of the people doing the farming.
Today we employ 480 full-time team members, operate 22 locations, and return cash patronage to our member-owners every year. Our agronomists, elevator managers, nutritionists, and drivers all live in the communities we serve.

Agronomy
Grid and zone sampling with prescription mapping for the monitor of your choice.
Independent hybrid placement informed by local trial data — not a corporate planting guide.
Pre, post, and fungicide programs sourced from the brands you trust, applied by licensed operators.
Self-propelled sprayers and floaters with same-week turnaround across our footprint.
Weekly in-season walk-throughs, tissue and stalk testing, and reports you can actually read.
Cover crop, nutrient stewardship, and carbon program enrollment — paperwork handled for you.
Feed
Dairy, beef, swine, and poultry — bulk and bagged feed from our mill, formulated by on-staff nutritionists and balanced against your forage tests and your economics.
Energy
On-road and off-road diesel, gasoline, and DEF — keep-full and scheduled delivery options.
Residential, commercial, and crop-drying propane with budget-billing and tank programs.
Premium engine oils, hydraulic fluids, and greases — bulk, drum, and pail.
Logistics
From farm to elevator to processor, our logistics team runs a regional fleet with hopper, tanker, and dry-van capacity. We handle our own loads first, then haul for neighbors when capacity allows.
